This is very refreshing trek specially in the monsoon.. There are two routes to go to Rajmachi fort. One is from Lonavala ( Near abt 18 kms) and one from Karjat. Lonavala route is very simple even a car can go to base village.( Prefer only sumo and other than Monsoon) You will see many waterfalls on Lonavala route...And karjat route is average but there is 50% chance to miss the route..Please prefer guide if you are new to Rajmachi ( Even we have lost twice) Villagers are very helpful.. One can contact Gajanan- 02148687469 for guide and Tukaram Umbre- 09850271060 or Mr. Mukund ( Rajamchi aid and development) - 09223579685 for residing and food arrangments... We really thanks to Mukund Kaka to avail us good facilities..

Nice reading about your trek experience. Elegantly located between Khandala and Lonavala, the Rajmachi fort offers mesmerising views of the valley below and the surrounding Sahyadri Range. If you are planning to visit Lonavala, then, check out hotels in Lonavala for travellers accommodation.
